Design and Performance Evaluation of SWB MIMO Antenna with Tri-Notch Functionality and Mutual Coupling Suppression

This research focuses on the design of a super wideband (SWB) antenna and its two-port multiple input output (MIMO) configurations. The is designed to cover spectrum ranging from 1.42 GHz 40 GHz, with additional feature tri-notch band functionality. respective spectrums 3.5 5.8 10.5 which are worldwide assigned for 5th generation (5G), sub-6-GHz applications, Wireless local area network (WLAN), Industrial Science Medical (ISM) applications X-band notched utilizing different shapes slots. SWB achieved by converting broadband circular monopole into an asymmetric semicircular offering wideband, then modified implementing tapered line feed techniques. Furthermore, reduce mutual coupling among MIMO elements, T-shaped open-ended stub loaded between them optimized achieve low ≤-20 dB. Along that, various performance parameters studied their comparison measured results compared. Lastly, table produced indicate competence suggested work in state-of-the-art, strengthens provided conclusions.
